Who can take part

  • Be right-handed (before stroke for people with aphasia)
  • Have at least a high school education or equivalent
  • Speak native English fluently (no early second-language learning before age 10)
  • Be able to complete in-person language tasks and an MRI scan
  • Vision and hearing must pass screening
