Natural embryo transfer with or without progesterone support

This Phase 1 study compares pregnancy outcomes, especially live birth, when using a natural-cycle frozen embryo transfer with an embryo that is genetically euploid (normal chromosome number) versus doing transfers without luteal (progesterone) phase support. It may help determine whether adding progesterone around ovulation improves the chance of a live birth.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old
  • You have regular, predictable ovulatory cycles
  • You have at least one euploid embryo available after genetic testing (PGT-A) on day 5 or day 6
  • Your clinic can detect ovulation by a progesterone (P4) rise after an LH surge (P4 rise > 1.0 ng/mL)
  • Your progesterone (P4) level is at least 5 ng/mL on day 4 after ovulation
