Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is either locally advanced (stage IIIB/IIIC) and cannot be removed by surgery, or has spread to other parts of the body (stage IV).
- You have not received any prior treatment (like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy) for your advanced or metastatic lung cancer.
- Your tumor tested very low for a protein called PD-L1 (less than 1%).
- Your tumor does not have certain genetic changes (like EGFR mutations or ALK rearrangements) that can be treated with targeted pills.
- Your cancer has not spread to your brain in a way that is causing symptoms or needs immediate treatment.
