Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a specific type of colorectal cancer where you have two or more tumors at the same time (called multiple primary colorectal cancer).
  • Lab tests show that at least one of your tumors has a high level of a genetic marker called MSI or a deficiency in the proteins that repair DNA (dMMR).
  • Your cancer is locally advanced (stage T3 or T4, with or without lymph node involvement) but has not spread to other organs (no distant metastases).
  • You have not had any prior treatment for this cancer, such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, or hormone therapy.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, kidney, bone marrow, or autoimmune problems, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
