PD-1 therapy plus chemotherapy before stomach cancer surgery

Stomach Neoplasms

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.

This Phase 2 trial tests whether adding a PD-1 antibody (JS001/toripalimab) to chemotherapy before surgery can improve outcomes for people with locally advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. It aims to help shrink the tumor and make surgery more effective.

JS107, Toripalimab, and Chemotherapy for Advanced Stomach Cancer

This study tests a combination of three treatments—JS107, toripalimab (an immunotherapy), and chemotherapy—for advanced stomach cancer that has a specific protein marker called CLDN18.2. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and help patients live longer.

NCT04908566Recruiting· Phase 2
PD-1 immunotherapy plus chemotherapy before and after gastric surgery

This trial studies whether adding a PD-1 immune therapy to chemotherapy around the time of surgery can improve outcomes for people with locally advanced stomach or stomach–esophagus junction cancer. It aims to better control the cancer before and reduce the chance it comes back after surgery.

NCT04997837Recruiting· Phase 3
Adjuvant chemo with or without PD-1 for stomach cancer after surgery

This Phase 3 trial studies whether adding an immune medicine called PD-1 (given as an “inhibitor”) to standard chemotherapy and chemoradiation after stomach/GEJ cancer surgery can lower the risk of cancer coming back. You may qualify if you’ve had surgery removing the tumor and lymph nodes showed higher-risk disease.

NCT06798376Recruiting
Immunotherapy plus chemo before stomach cancer surgery

This trial tests combining immunotherapy (PD-1 blockers) with chemotherapy before surgery for advanced stomach cancer. The goal is to find the best number of treatment cycles to shrink the tumor and improve surgery results.

Beijing
NCT05563012Recruiting· Phase 2
Short radiation plus chemo and PD-1 immunotherapy for stomach cancer

This Phase 2 trial tests whether giving a short course of radiation before surgery, along with chemotherapy and a PD-1 immunotherapy drug, can improve treatment outcomes for locally advanced stomach cancer. It may help shrink the tumor before surgery and strengthen the immune system’s attack on cancer.
