Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have already had an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) at Ruijin Hospital.
  • You have a normal heart rhythm (sinus rhythm) with at least 8 steady beats in a row.
  • You do not have a pacemaker.
  • You do not have a complete left bundle branch block or a wide QRS wave (a type of electrical delay in the heart).
  • The skin on your left chest is not damaged or allergic to sticky patches.
