  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (the kind that is not caused by something else).
  • Your doctor has decided that you are a good candidate for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery.
  • You are able to safely miss a few doses of your regular Parkinson's medications, if needed.
