Personalized drug test for newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You were recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and have moderate to severe symptoms (like at least 6 tender and 6 swollen joints).
  • You either took methotrexate for at least 12 weeks and it didn't work well enough, or you had to stop because of side effects.
  • You have never taken etanercept, adalimumab, upadacitinib, or tocilizumab before.
  • You have a C-reactive protein level at least 1 times the normal upper limit.
  • You have insurance that takes part in this trial and can do telehealth visits.
