Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck that has returned or spread and is in the oropharynx.
- Your tumor is positive for HPV type 16.
- Your tumor tests positive for a protein called PD-L1.
- You have not had surgery to remove the cancer as your only treatment.
- You have not received any prior treatment for advanced head and neck cancer (except chemotherapy and radiation as your first treatment).
- You have not had radiation to the chest area within the last 2 weeks.
- You have not been treated with certain types of immunotherapy or other investigational drugs for this cancer.
- You do not have active brain metastases or inflammation of the lungs.
- You have not received a live vaccine within 30 days before starting the study treatment.
