Who can take part
- You must be between 1 and 18 years old.
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of Pearson Syndrome (or have had it in the past).
- You must be struggling to grow (height below average for your age).
- You must weigh at least 10 kilograms (about 22 pounds).
- Your parent or guardian must be willing to understand and sign a consent form.
- You cannot have HIV, active infections, certain blood disorders, or a history of cancer.
