Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You had a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) that was not a repeated one
- Your calf muscle has some stiffness that a doctor rates as 1, 2, or 3 on a scale of 0 to 4
- You can walk without someone else's help to do a walking test
- You have not had Botox in your leg in the last 3 months, and no dry needling in the last month
- You do not have a strong fear of needles or an allergy to metal
