  • You are between 16 and 60 years old.
  • You have a specific type of shoulder separation (Rockwood type IIIb, IV, or V) confirmed by X-ray.
  • Your injury happened less than 3 weeks ago.
  • You have not had any prior surgery on the injured shoulder.
  • You are willing to be followed for at least 12 months after surgery.
