Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 45 years old
- Your shoulder AC joint injury is recent and classified as Rockwood type III, IV, or V
- You have not had previous surgery on the same (injured) shoulder
- You do not have certain other broken bones on the same side (such as ribs, collarbone, shoulder blade, or coracoid area fractures)
- Your injury happened within the last 3 weeks
- You are able to have arthroscopic (camera-assisted) CC-stabilization surgery
