Who can take part

  • You need a shoulder problem like severe arthritis, a large rotator cuff tear, or a failed rotator cuff repair.
  • The socket of your shoulder joint must be worn down or pushed inward (glenoid medialization).
  • You must be able to read and write in Norwegian.
  • You cannot have severe osteoporosis, bone death in the upper arm, dementia, or a weak deltoid muscle.
  • This trial is not for people who need a second shoulder replacement, have a serious infection, or a recent fracture.
