Who can take part

  • You must be a woman aged 18 to 75 years.
  • Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive and confirmed by biopsy.
  • Your cancer must be early-stage or locally advanced, not spread to distant organs.
  • You must be physically active and able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You plan to have surgery to remove the breast cancer.
  • You must have normal heart, blood, liver, and kidney function.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must use birth control if needed.
  • You must not have other active cancers or serious heart problems.
