Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have gum recession (at least 3 millimeters deep) on one of your lower front teeth.
  • Your gums and body are generally healthy, and you have no serious health issues that affect healing.
  • You do not smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, and you do not vape or chew tobacco.
  • You are not pregnant or nursing, and you do not have poorly controlled diabetes (A1c above 7).
  • You have not had gum surgery on the same tooth before.
