Who can take part

  • You have at least two gum recessions on both sides of your mouth that are 1 millimeter or deeper.
  • Your gums and teeth are healthy with very little plaque or bleeding.
  • You can see the line where your tooth meets your gum.
  • You are 18 or older.
  • You must not smoke.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have any health issues that slow healing, like uncontrolled diabetes, cancer, or HIV.
  • You are not taking certain medications like steroids or drugs for bone loss.
