Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a type of liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that is at a stage where it might be shrunk before surgery.
  • You have not had any previous treatment for your liver cancer.
  • Your liver tumor(s) are in one lobe of the liver, or there is a small clot in the main portal vein that can be removed with the tumor.
  • Your blood counts, liver function, and kidney function are within safe ranges (like enough white blood cells, platelets, and normal bilirubin levels).
