Who can take part
- You are 18–75 years old.
- Your liver cancer (HCC) is confirmed by pathology or accepted diagnosis rules, and you have not had any prior cancer treatment for this liver cancer (like chemo, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation, ablation, or other liver cancer surgery).
- Before surgery, your tumor stage is CNLC IB or IIA, and scans show narrow or no surgical margins, plus blood tests include AFP and PIVKA together above 1600.
- Your health status score is ECOG 0 (fully active) before starting study medicine, and you have enough liver function (Child-Pugh 5–6, liver grade A).
- Your blood counts and organ labs are good enough for surgery (for example, hemoglobin, white cells, platelets, and clotting tests meet the listed limits).
- You can provide a tumor tissue sample (from stored tissue or a new biopsy), and you agree to contraception during the study if needed.
