Who can take part

  • You have advanced stomach, gastroesophageal junction, or esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body.
  • Your cancer is HER2-positive (a specific protein marker) confirmed by a central lab.
  • You have already tried and your cancer progressed on a treatment that included trastuzumab (Herceptin) and platinum chemotherapy.
  • You are at least 18 years old, in generally good physical condition (ECOG 0 or 1), and expected to live at least 12 weeks.
  • You are willing to provide blood and tumor samples for research, and can travel for treatment and follow-up visits.
