Who can take part

  • You have stage II or III adenocarcinoma of the stomach or gastroesophageal junction (not stage IV).
  • Your tumor is HER2-high (strongly positive on an IHC test, or moderately positive with a positive FISH test).
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old and in good enough health for surgery (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You have not had prior chemotherapy or targeted therapy for gastric cancer.
  • You do not have serious heart/lung problems, active infections, or other active cancers.
