Who can take part

  • You have tried at least two different antidepressants at adequate doses and they didn't work well for you
  • Your depression symptoms are moderate to severe (scores on a depression scale of 24 or higher)
  • You are between 18 and 45 years old
  • You are right-handed and of Han Chinese ethnicity
  • You have a college degree or higher, and can complete a simple vision test
