- You have colon cancer that is on the right side of your colon (the cecum, ascending colon, or near the liver).
- Your cancer was found by a special CT scan (CT colonography) or a colonoscopy, and a biopsy confirmed it is cancer.
- You did not need emergency surgery because of a blockage or a tear in your bowel.
- Your cancer has not spread to other parts of your body (no metastasis).
- You are in reasonably good health (not severely ill or life-threatening condition).
