Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older
- You must be enrolled in the main NIH pain study (16-AT-0077)
- Either you have a confirmed PIEZO2 gene mutation causing sensory problems, OR you are a healthy volunteer
- You cannot have chronic pain or be on nerve pain medication in the past year
- You cannot have major health issues like diabetes, epilepsy, or a history of fainting
