Who can take part
- You have a solid tumor cancer (not leukemia or lymphoma) and are getting chemotherapy or similar drugs.
- You've had at least one round of chemo that can lower blood counts, and you'll keep getting it for at least 8 more weeks.
- Your average hemoglobin level is below 10.0 g/dL on two tests taken at least a week apart.
- Your kidney, liver, and iron levels are within trial limits.
