Ketone drink for exercise and heart health in type 2 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have type 2 diabetes and your diabetes medicines have been steady for at least one month.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 25 or higher (clinically overweight or obese).
  • You do not have type 1 diabetes or a history of diabetic ketoacidosis.
  • You do not have severe kidney disease, an implanted heart device, or claustrophobia that prevents an MRI.
  • You are willing to avoid a low-carb diet and have no lactose intolerance or allergies to the study supplement.
