Who can take part

  • You are between 25 and 55 years old and male or pre-menopausal female.
  • You have type 2 diabetes with an HbA1c of 7.5% or higher.
  • You have a BMI between 25 and 45.
  • You do not exercise regularly (1 day or less of planned exercise per week).
  • Your liver fat is 5.6% or higher (measured by MRI).
  • Your weight has been stable (within 4.4 pounds) for the past 3 months.
