Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have been newly diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis (this includes certain types like limbic encephalitis, possible encephalitis with positive antibodies, or a paraneoplastic neurological syndrome).
- Your first neurological symptoms started less than 6 months ago.
- You have not received immunotherapy (like steroids, IVIg, plasma exchange, or rituximab) for more than 10 days total.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can safely have an MRI and lie still for a PET scan.
- You are not under guardianship, not in prison, and not participating in another study with radioactive injections.
