Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have mild to moderate heart failure that has been stable for at least 3 months.
  • Your heart's pumping function (ejection fraction) is 40% or higher.
  • You are overweight (BMI 25 or higher) or have diabetes, prediabetes, or metabolic syndrome.
  • You are willing to follow either a ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) or mixed diet for the study.
