  • You had a stroke (either from a clot or bleeding) within the past 6 months, confirmed by a brain scan.
  • You are able to understand instructions and give your consent to participate.
  • You have not had a stroke before this one.
  • You do not have severe memory or thinking problems that would interfere with therapy.
  • You do not have other medical issues (like broken bones or nerve problems) that would affect your rehab.
  • You do not have a pacemaker.
