Who can take part

  • You are between 16 and 65 years old.
  • You have at least 2 signs of alcohol use disorder (like craving or losing control over drinking) but do not need treatment for it.
  • You speak German fluently.
  • You are willing to use a study smartphone for the research.
  • You are not taking medications or drugs that affect your brain or stress system (such as antidepressants, benzodiazepines, or steroids).
  • You are not pregnant, and you have no history of severe brain injury, serious medical conditions (like liver cirrhosis), or certain mental health disorders (like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia).
