Vitamin D in newborn cord blood: what affects it and why it matters

Vitamin d Deficiency

Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This study looks at vitamin D levels in a baby's umbilical cord blood at birth, and how those levels relate to the baby's health afterward. It helps doctors understand what influences vitamin D and whether it can predict future health issues.
