Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and can give consent.
- You were diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer that has not spread to other organs.
- Your tumor type is either invasive ductal or lobular carcinoma, or ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
- You had a lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery) with clear margins and either sentinel node biopsy or full lymph node removal.
- You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy after surgery.
- You are not a male, have not had radiation to that breast before, are not getting certain chemotherapies now, and can lie still for treatment.
