Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You are scheduled to have a heart device lead removed based on current medical guidelines.
  • Your lead has been in place for more than 1 year but less than 5 years.
  • Your lead is about the thickness of a coffee stirrer (7 to 9 French).
  • You are in stable health (classified as ASA II or III).
  • You do not have severe heart failure (NYHA class IV) or an allergic reaction to contrast dye.
  • You have tested negative for COVID-19 and have no symptoms.
