Who can take part

  • You had a stroke (either from a clot or bleeding) between 7 and 14 days ago.
  • You were able to live independently before the stroke (you could do daily tasks without help).
  • You have weakness in an arm, leg, or both, but not complete paralysis.
  • You can sit and stand with good trunk control.
  • You can understand simple instructions and decide to join the study.
  • You do not have conditions like severe aphasia, dementia, behavior problems, or epilepsy caused by flashing lights.
