Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You had a stroke caused by a large artery in the front part of the brain that is narrowed or blocked.
- Your stroke symptoms started less than 48 hours ago.
- Your stroke severity score (NIHSS) is between 6 and 15.
- You did not need emergency clot-dissolving medicine or a procedure to remove the clot.
- You have not been taking ACE inhibitor blood pressure medicines regularly before the stroke.
