Healthy Subjects

This study looks at how temperature affects muscle tissue images on ultrasound. If you are a healthy adult, you may be able to join and help researchers learn more about muscle changes during a common treatment called dry needling.

  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You must be generally healthy with no known nerve, heart, blood vessel, metabolic, or bone problems.
  • You cannot have metal implants in the area being treated.
  • You cannot have a pacemaker.
  • You must avoid any exercise or physical activity for 48 hours before the study.
