Who can take part

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) that has come back or not responded to treatment.
  • Have tried or not be eligible for all standard treatments that could help.
  • Be in generally good physical condition (able to do light activity).
  • Have acceptable kidney, liver, and blood clotting function based on recent lab tests.
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant, use effective birth control.
