Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a CALR gene mutation and a diagnosis of essential thrombocythemia or myelofibrosis.
  • Your overall health should allow you to be up and about (ECOG score 2 or less).
  • If you are in the US, you must be eligible to take ruxolitinib and have not taken a JAK inhibitor before.
  • You cannot have had a stem cell transplant in the last 6 months or have ongoing graft-versus-host disease.
  • You must not have serious heart disease in the last 6 months.
