Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old and fluent in Chinese.
  • You either have a prolonged disorder of consciousness after a brain injury, or you are a healthy volunteer.
  • If you are a healthy volunteer, you do not have sleep apnea or chronic insomnia.
  • You have not taken sleeping pills or sedatives in the 3 days before the study.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, or kidney problems, or other conditions that might interfere.
