Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 75 years old
  • You must have advanced cancer that has spread or cannot be removed
  • You must be healthy enough to perform daily tasks with little to no help (ECOG score 0 or 1)
  • You must not have other active cancers or serious heart problems
  • You must not have diabetes (type 1 or 2) or had it before
  • Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test and use birth control
