PLX038 for brain tumors with MYC or MYCN changes

This study tests a new drug called PLX038 for people with brain or spinal cord tumors that have certain genetic changes (MYC or MYCN) or have come back after treatment. Who can take part

  • You have a primary brain or spinal cord tumor that has come back or is growing.
  • For some parts of the study, the tumor must have a specific genetic change (MYC or MYCN amplification).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are generally able to care for yourself (Karnofsky score 70% or higher).
  • You have had a break from prior treatments like chemotherapy or radiation (at least 4 weeks, sometimes longer).
  • You have tumor tissue available for testing, or you are willing to have a biopsy if needed.
