Who can take part
- You have a benign or low-grade pancreatic tumor (such as a neuroendocrine tumor, solid pseudopapillary tumor, or cystadenoma)
- The tumor is located in the head, neck, or uncinate process of the pancreas
- The tumor has not spread to nearby blood vessels or other parts of the body
- You are scheduled for laparoscopic surgery where blood flow to the abdominal trunk and superior mesenteric artery will be temporarily blocked
