  • Cancer is in the head of the pancreas, bile duct, duodenum, or ampulla and can be fully removed with surgery
  • No spread of cancer to other organs or lymph nodes
  • Major blood vessels near the pancreas (like the superior mesenteric vein and portal vein) are not involved
  • You must be healthy enough for surgery without other serious medical conditions
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
