Who can take part
- You must be 20 years or older.
- You must have bile duct cancer that was confirmed by a biopsy and cannot be surgically removed.
- Your cancer must not have spread to other organs (stage IV) or caused fluid buildup in the belly (malignant ascites).
- You must be able to undergo an endoscopic procedure (a thin tube passed through your mouth to reach the bile duct).
- You must not have a pacemaker, be pregnant, or have a bleeding problem that cannot be corrected.
