Who can take part
- You have bile duct cancer that cannot be surgically removed and is in the main bile ducts or liver hilum.
- You have a bile duct stent in place and are receiving or planning to receive palliative systemic therapy (chemotherapy or other drugs).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have not had radiofrequency ablation for bile duct cancer before.
- You have not had a bile duct stent replaced more than once in the last 3 months (your first stent placement or first replacement within 3 months is okay).
- You do not have severe heart disease (like uncontrolled heart failure, recent heart attack, or unstable angina) or a psychiatric condition that would make it hard to understand the trial.
