This study tests whether support from a peer mentor can help Black and Latinx adults with type 1 diabetes who currently use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) less than half the time to use it more regularly. You'll join remote video sessions with a mentor who has experience with diabetes.

Who can take part
- You have type 1 diabetes (diagnosed by a doctor or by having ketones/auto-antibodies).
- You identify as Black and/or Latinx.
- You can speak and understand written English to take surveys and talk with a mentor (your caregiver doesn't need to speak English).
- You have a personal cellphone or tablet to join video calls.
- You have used a CGM less than half the time in the last 3 months.
- You are not currently using a CGM, not pregnant or planning pregnancy, and have no severe skin reactions to CGM sensors.
