Who can take part
- You must be a man between 18 and 50 years old.
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
- You cannot currently be taking any SMA disease-modifying medicines or therapies.
- You must be fully recovered from any recent illness and feel well enough to join.
- You cannot have a history of chemotherapy, radiation, certain cancers, or use of steroids like testosterone.
