Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have an above-knee amputation and use a mechanical (non-electronic) knee
  • You wear your prosthesis at least 5 days a week
  • You have a Medicare Functional Level K2 (walking ability indoors and on level surfaces)
  • Your weight is between 110 and 256 pounds, and height between about 4 feet 7 inches and 6 feet 5 inches
  • You have a phone for periodic study calls
