This study tests whether a microprocessor-controlled knee can reduce falls in people who walk limited distances. If you use a regular mechanical knee and have a moderate activity level, this trial might help you walk more safely.

Who can take part
- You have lost one leg above the knee or through the knee joint.
- Your limb loss happened at least 6 months ago.
- You currently use a prosthesis with a non-microprocessor (mechanical) knee.
- You received your current mechanical knee replacement between 4 and 24 months ago.
- Your clinician says you are a limited community walker (K2 level), and you meet one of these scores: Houghton 5-10, a specific PLUS-M score, or AMPPRO 27-42.
- You weigh less than 275 pounds and wear your prosthesis at least 3 days a week (24 hours total).
